Who are they?
The Perrin family’s history is intimately tied to the southern Rhône and Château de Beaucastel, acquired in 1909 by Pierre Tramier. From generation to generation, the family has developed a collection of vineyards spanning several emblematic terroirs in the southern Rhône valley. A pioneer in their approach to the vine, they adopted organic farming as early as 1950 and converted Beaucastel to biodynamics in 1974. Today, the fifth generation continues this vision around a simple idea: let each terroir express itself with precision, while retaining freshness, balance and elegance.

Each property is managed with the goal of preserving its own identity and allowing the soil, climate and history of the place to speak through the wine.
Organic pioneers
The family has practised organic farming since 1950 and converted the Château de Beaucastel vineyard to biodynamics as early as 1974.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and other Rhône varieties are blended precisely to seek balance, freshness and expression of place.

Famille Perrin notably has a shop in Châteauneuf-du-Pape where you can discover and taste the wines. Visits to Château de Beaucastel can also be arranged by appointment. It’s best to check the arrangements with the house before making the trip.
