Ferme cidricole Équinoxe
In Farnham, Équinoxe grows its fruits and grapes organically to create ciders and wines that step off the beaten path.
Farnham, Quebec

The estate
In Farnham, Audrey-Anne and Marc-Antoine have developed an organic farm where apples, grapes, pears, plums and many other fruits are grown. The harvests are used to produce ciders, wines and spirits directly on the farm.
The orchard includes McIntosh, Cortland, Golden Russet and Red Atlas apples. In the vineyard, you can find varieties such as Saint-Pépin, Frontenac blanc, Petite Pearl and Marquette. Équinoxe also welcomes visitors to its shop and country bistro, where farm products play an important role.
Four things to know.
01
A farm that produces much more than apples
Équinoxe also grows grapes, pears, plums and many other fruits. This diversity allows the team to make ciders, wines and spirits from their own harvests.
02
Ciders that meet wine
Some cuvées combine apples and grapes. Équinoxe notably uses grape skins after pressing to bring new flavours and textures to its ciders.
03
Organic farming
The farm favours practices that promote soil health and biodiversity. This approach guides the work in both the orchards and the vineyard.
