Who are they?
Founded in California by Jess Jackson in 1982, Kendall-Jackson has become one of the best-known American wine houses. Its Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay has played a large part in defining a generous, approachable Californian Chardonnay style, where ripe fruit meets broad texture and the notes contributed by oak ageing. The house works with vineyards from several coastal areas of California, where the influence of the Pacific helps preserve freshness despite a climate that favours good grape ripeness.
