The producer

Who are they?

Louis Bouillot's history is closely tied to Burgundy sparkling wine. Jean Bouillot established himself opposite the Nuits-Saint-Georges railway station in 1877 and developed a trade in sparkling wines. Louis and his brother Adrien continued that specialization. By the time the Crémant de Bourgogne AOC was officially recognized in 1975, the house already had nearly a century of sparkling-wine experience. Today Louis Bouillot works a substantial vineyard dedicated to Crémant de Bourgogne and continues exploring the region's grapes and terroirs.
