Why we love it
Because it is an excellent introduction to gastronomic French cider without starting with a more ambitious or expensive cuvée. Sidre Brut is dry, energetic and structured while remaining highly approachable at the table. Above all, it shows how blending numerous apple varieties can give cider the same kind of dimension that grape blending can bring to wine.
Pairings
What with?
Tasting
In detail.
A decidedly dry and refreshing cider, built around fresh, ripe apple with floral and tangy nuances. The palate has a nice tension, lively acidity and enough tannic structure to accompany a meal. The finish is clean, dry and persistent.
