Who are they?
Baron Philippe de Rothschild is a family-owned house based in Pauillac, in the heart of the Médoc. Its history is inseparable from Baron Philippe de Rothschild, a pioneering figure of the Bordeaux vineyard, who created Mouton Cadet in 1930 with the idea of offering a branded Bordeaux that was accessible and consistent. His daughter Philippine, and then the next generation, continued this desire to pass on the culture of Bordeaux wine while evolving the house. Today, its activities bring together classified growths, brand wines and international projects. Its expertise has notably expanded to Chile, where the house produces, among others, the Mapu range.
