The estate

Behind Vin Nordiq are Steven and Elizabeth, a duo who approach Quebec wine with a great deal of freedom and an open desire to make it lively, accessible and current. Rather than farming their own vineyard, they select grapes from local producers, then vinify and blend them to create wines that put cold‑climate varieties front and centre. Their playground therefore stretches well beyond a single plot: Eona, Saint-Pépin, Seyval, Maréchal Foch, De Chaunac and Frontenac become the raw material for fresh, expressive and often unexpected wines. A project that tells the story of Quebec winemaking differently, with a strong graphic identity and plenty of personality in the bottle.

Four things to know.

01

Quebec as a playground

Vin Nordiq doesn’t own its own vineyard. They source grapes from Quebec growers, which lets them work with multiple terroirs and build each wine from the fruit they’re after.

02

Northern grape varieties front and centre

Eona, Saint-Pépin, Seyval, Maréchal Foch, De Chaunac and Frontenac are part of their vocabulary. Rather than trying to make them taste like something else, Vin Nordiq focuses on their freshness, fruit and personality.

03

Wines made to be drunk

The common thread is clear: expressive, fresh and approachable wines, with a low‑intervention approach and a healthy dose of freedom in the blends. Serious wines without taking themselves too seriously.

Why Vin Nordiq.

A place here is earned. This is what convinced us.

Because Vin Nordiq shows how Quebec hybrid varieties can be contemporary, playful and genuinely delicious. We like how they step outside the classic vineyard model to source local grapes and craft wines with an identity that truly belongs to them.
