Provence
Provence is one of the major wine regions in southeastern France and a world reference for rosé wine. Its Mediterranean climate, marked by strong sunshine, dry summers and the influence of the mistral, promotes fresh wines despite the heat. Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah play an important role in the blends, to which other grape varieties may be added depending on the appellations.
